Throughout his sensational professional career, Mr. Ade Kukoyi has routinely demonstrated the passion, vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be mentioned among the elite as well as to experience an enormous amount of success in the entertainment and cultural arenas. He is also well known for his advocacy in protecting the indigenous cultural and intellectual property within the music industry.

For well over two decades Mr. Kukoyi has served as Managing Director of Daki Budtcha Records, which is one of the leading producers and promoters of Indigenous Australian culture, music, dance, songs, stories and drama. Mr. Kukoyi was responsible for establishing the firm as a growing independent recording and publishing company. His personal effort as an opportunist, and focused direction also laid the groundwork for Daki Budtcha’s expansion into the indigenous awareness and customary law arena.

Simultaneous to running Daki Budtcha Records, Ade joined the Australia-Nigeria Business Council as Inaugural President in 2008, striving to embrace and extend his full spectrum of cultural dedication through yet another distinctive venue. He has also spent the past 17 years as the Principal Advisor for the Turrbal Association. Mr. Kukoyi’s main goal as advisor is in establishing a bridge between the cultural integrity of Daki Budtcha and its subsequent responsibility in the community.

Over the course of his incredibly impressive career, Ade has served in numerous other prominent roles, including being the Associate Producer of international award-winning opera film, Black River, which stars Maroochy Barambah. He also served as the Producer and Director of the Goodwill Concert, which was held at the United Nations in honor of the International Year for the Worlds Indigenous People.

In addition to the substantial amount of expertise he has gathered through his voluminous professional experience, Ade is an extensively educated individual who studied law, corporate management, banking, finance, and accounting during his collegiate career. Mr. Kukoyi is qualified as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Secretary.
