Adrian Cook Is Connected To The South Africa Business Network
CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA, May 10, 2012 /South Africa Business Network/ -- An extraordinary entrepreneur in the human resources and education industry with over three decades of diverse professional experience in the field of business human resources, training and lecturing; Adrian Cook has consistently demonstrated the passion, vision, and dedication necessary to be successful in the business world. As a result of his phenomenal professional career, Adrian has earned inclusion in the South Africa Business Network, the world's largest premiere networking resource for South African career professionals.
Drawing on his extensive experience as a lecturer, Adrian Cook assumed his role as Program Director and lecturer with the School of Business and Commerce in 2013. The School of Business and Commerce (SOBC) is a Division of the South African Institute of Higher Education (Pty) Ltd, a brain child of Maarten van Doesburgh. This meeting resulted in SOBC being accredited as a training provider for the South African Institute of Management (SAIM). The School offers classroom tuition as well as internet tuition for SAIM qualifications in the areas of business management, marketing management, human resources management, credit management, IT management, and management research. Adrian points out that although they have one of the highest pass rates in South Africa and the top student over all for two years out of the three he has been lecturing SAIM, “This would not have been possible without the commitment of the students and the lecturers working with us.”
Their ambition is to start a cyber-varsity which will give quality and affordable education to students from all walks of life that wish to enter the business field. All they will need is access to a computer and an internet connection. They are also considering starting a school that deals singularly with business subjects, which could then feed into the SAIM and other qualifications they are considering. Adrian and his team firmly believe that the solution to South Africa’s problems is education, yet education that is useful to the student so that if they cannot find employment they will possess the skills to start their own business and through the SMME (Small to Medium Micro Enterprises) boost the South African economy, reducing the crime, corruption and drugs plaguing the country.
In addition to his role as Program Director and Lecturer for the School of Business and Commerce, Adrian is also the Owner of Acceptable Solutions cc trading as Lancer Consultants since 2000. He is highly regarded for his exceptional skills in handling human resources problems, dealing with disciplinary cases and handling industrial relations problems, as a labour consultant. Adrian enjoys an impeccable reputation for his ability to deliver consulting services and training in the area of labour law and strategic management across South Africa through his company, Acceptable Solutions.
Despite obtaining a considerable amount of his expertise through his professional experience especially in the mining and banking industries, Adrian also earned an Advanced Diploma in Business Management, Diploma in Business Management, and Certificate in Business Management from the South African Institute of Management. Furthermore, he has an Advanced Diploma in Labor Law and Arbitration from the University of South Africa and is a Certified Trainer, Facilitator, and Assessor ETDP-SETA from Damelin College Mowbray. Adrian also has a Certificate in Industrial Relations from the Wits Business School and Damelin Business School.
