Arturo Prada, MD, Represents Michigan’s Nephrology Community with Entry in The Leading Physicians of the World
The Leading Physicians of the World and the International Association of Internists welcome Arturo Prada, MD, to a new standard of leading physicians as a result of his exceptional accomplishments as a nephrologist in the Rochester, Michigan community. With over 30 years serving patients at his private practice, Dr. Prada has consistently demonstrated the honesty, dedication, and passion for patient care necessary to be considered among the best during his years in practice.
Dr. Prada began his career in Columbia, at the National University of Colombia, with the Facultad De Medicina. Upon graduation in 1970, Dr. Prada then moved to Michigan, where he completed his internship, residency, and fellowship at some of the state’s finest hospitals. His internship was completed at St. John Hospital, part of St. John Providence Medical System. His residency was completed at Sinai-Grace Hospital, notable for its ground-breaking cardiac surgery procedures, and housing the late Harry Houdini. Dr. Prada’s fellowship was completed with Wayne State University, a noted medical college in Detroit. He is now double board-certified in internal medicine and nephrology.
At Dr. Prada’s private practice, he specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases. Nephrology is a sub-specialty of internal medicine specifically dealing with kidney function. As the kidneys serve as filters for siphoning waste out of the body, they are vital to our well-bring. Dr. Prada’s fluent knowledge of Spanish makes him a valuable asset to the diverse Detroit community.
