Herman has routinely demonstrated the passion, vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be successful in the business world.

As a result of her brilliant body of work as well as the enormous amount of success she has experienced throughout her entire occupational history, Barbara A. Herman has earned recognition in the distinguished network of leading professionals with Stanford Who’s Who.

Employing her extensive expertise in the field, Barbara currently serves as a Cemetery Representative for the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, California. The cemetery is a United States National Cemetery, set on 561 acres of land, which was opened for burials in 2006 and is designated by the Department of Veterans Affairs to serve the needs of military veterans for the next 50 years. There are presently about 346,000 veterans live within the service area of the cemetery.

In her position with the cemetery, Barbara is responsible for assisting cemetery administrators in the planning and implementing of operations, including scheduling burials, maintaining records, and coordinating military funeral honors. She works closely with veterans, their families, and other stakeholders in order to coordinate committal services and tributes for decedents. Barbara is committed to ensuring that veterans are respectfully memorialized and honored in their final resting place.

Prior to joining the team at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, Barbara accumulated over four years of clerical experience. In addition to the expertise she has obtained through her professional experience, she attended Troy State University during her collegiate career. Always looking to give back to society, Barbara also spent fourteen years working with the Special Olympics and she is actively involved in the support of numerous charitable organizations.
