Bruce embraced the challenges of entrepreneurship in 2013 with the establishment of ACI Hecker, a young and dynamic company that provides clients with the Welfare Health and Safety knowledge to maintain compliance with various Legislative Acts and Regulations required under Australian Law. With a solid background to support his OHS knowledge, Bruce is also an excellent communicator with the ability to perform successfully in the challenging corporate environment.

Despite acquiring a vast pat of his expertise through professional experience, Bruce Hecker also built an impressive academic foundation. He obtained a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety from the Victorian Employers Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from the University of New South Wales, and a Diploma in Accounting from Box Hill TAFE.  Furthermore, Bruce is a member of the Safety Institute of Australia and the Institute of Public Accountants.

Bruce recognizes the gulf between the accounting profession and safety in the workplace and believes that from the accounting position, with so much insight into business operations, that there is great potential for accountants to identify existing health and safety opportunities for improvement as well as improvement in net profit and staff morale. Furthermore, Bruce believes that accountants make their living on offering good advice and that this should also include occupational, health and safety and not be limited to taxation matters.
