Catherine is highly relied upon for her exceptional skills, understanding, and knowledge in the areas of forensic psychiatry, eating disorders, child and adolescent psychiatry, medical legal consulting, and psychosomatic medicine.
Dr. Krasnik holds an impressive educational journey that includes a Bachelor’ Degree in Psychology and Biology, a Doctorate of Philosophy in Medicine and Neuroscience, and a Doctorate of Medicine in Psychiatry from McMaster University. She further advanced her training with a Certificate in Mental Health Law and a Certificate in Health Law from York University, Osgoode Hall Law School.
Additionally, Dr. Krasnik completed a fellowship in General Forensic and Child and Adolescent Forensic Psychiatry with McMaster University and is a Public Psychiatry Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. She is also affiliated with several societies and groups, such as the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law, Canadian Academy of Society and the Law, American Psychiatric Association, Canadian Psychiatric Association, Ontario Psychiatric Association, and American Academy of Neurology.
