Christine Schutz Earns Membership With Stanford Who’s Who
ADELAIDE, SOUTH AUSTRALIA April 17, 2013 /Stanford Who’s Who/-- Stanford Who’s Who is extremely pleased to announce that Christine Schutz has joined its illustrious organization. Christine has been honored for her immense achievements in the field of healthcare and medical research. She currently holds the position of Research Associate with Wakefield Orthopedics.
Wakefield Orthopedics is a clinical Orthopedic and research facility dedicated to improving the lives of those suffering from Upper and lower limb joint disease and injuries. The staff includes a number of orthopedic surgeons who specialize in acute and chronic injuries, sports injuries, occupational injuries, hip, knee and leg disorders, hand, elbow, shoulder or arm injuries, arthritis, joint replacement, arthroscopic surgery, and joint reconstruction. In 1995, Wakefield Orthopedics created a Foundation to allow for Research Fellows to work with Experienced Surgeons and to develop research interests in Orthopedics.
In her current position, Christine oversees clinical trials, and collaborates closely with the facility’s surgeons and surgical fellows. She possesses particular expertise in nursing, clinical education, research, occupational health assessments and work management. Ms. Schutz has served in the field of medical research and Nursing Education for 25 years and has 16 years of experience in new drug development for the pharmaceutical industry. She has also worked in the medical Device Industry and has a strong interest in Joint Replacement Devices.
Over the course of her career, Christine has also served as the editor for the National Day Surgery Group within the Australia Journal. Christine has proven to be a valuable member of her research team and has improved the pace of clinical research through her capable management of patients, surgeons and medical staff.
During her academic career Christine, a Registered Nurse who holds post graduate qualifications, received her Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety from the University of Sydney and is currently completing her Master’s degree in Orthopedics from the University of Adelaide. Christine is a member of the Orthopedic Association, the Australian College of Nursing and Australian Day Surgery Nurses Association.
