Christopher P. Poje, MD, FACS, Represents New York with Inclusion into Renowned Publication The Leading Physicians of the World
The International Association of Healthcare Professionals (IAHCP) has carefully selected Christopher P. Poje, MD, FACS, to represent pediatric otolaryngology in their publication, The Leading Physicians of the World. Dr. Poje’s selection is a significant representation of his passion and dedication for the field of pediatric otolaryngology. He is considered to be among the best among his many years in practice.
Dr. Poje receives his patients at his private practice with Pediatric ENT Associates (PENTA) in Amherst, New York. His areas of specialty include complex ear and sinus diseases, cochlear implants, and endoscopic sinus surgeries. With a special interest in chronic ear disease, he continues research on ear inflammation and its relation to gastric reflux. When he is not at his current location, Dr. Poje serves his patients at Children’s Hospital Buffalo and Sisters of Charity Hospital. In addition to his clinical functions, he maintains his teaching position as an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology and Pediatrics at the University of Buffalo.
Dr. Poje graduated in 1985 from the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his internship at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center and his residency at the University of Pennsylvania Health System. Dr. Poje ultimately advanced his training with a fellowship in Pediatric ENT at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Board certified in head and neck surgery, he is also a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, American Academy of Pediatrics, American Society for Pediatric Otolaryngology and Society for Ear, Nose, and Throat Advances in Children. In 1999, he was declared the ENT Professor of the Year by the University of Buffalo.
