Just scratching the surface of his professional potential, Daniel currently serves as a rotational Financial Analyst in the Controlling Professional Development Program with BASF, which is a world leader in the chemicals industry that is renowned for its combination of economic success, social responsibility and environmental protection. Joining the BASF team in July of 2011, Mr. Marjoncu has had extensive involvement in the areas of financial analysis and business recommendations. He has also gathered a wealth of knowledge in the supply chain and asset management functions of the business.
Before taking his position with BASF, Daniel worked as a Business Transformation Intern with Freddie Mac, where he was active in strategic discussions and planning activities for an enterprise architecture tool. During his still young but already prosperous career, he also has experience as an Engineering Intern for High Steel Structures Inc. and worked on cost analysis in the High Concrete Group LLC’s engineering process.
In addition to the considerable amount of expertise he has gathered through his professional experience, Daniel is an extensively educated individual who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accounting from Lehigh University, graduating with Honors. While at the university, he was a member of the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society, Chi Epsilon National Civil Engineering Honor Society, and Beta Alpha Psi.
Evidencing his remarkable reputation in the professional community, Mr. Marjoncu is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, American Institute of Steel Construction, American Concrete Institute, American Society of Highway Engineers, and the American Physical Society.
