Dr. Ralph A. Gardner-Chavis Joins The Ranks Of Stanford Who’s Who

CLEVELAND, OH, January 6, 2012 /Stanford Who’s Who/ -- Stanford Who’s Who acknowledges and values the work of Ralph A. Gardener in the field of chemistry. Throughout his entire professional career as well as in his position as President of the Molecular Technology Corporation, Ralph has been the embodiment of dedication, vision, and knowledge necessary to be considered among the best in his field.

Currently serving as an Independent Professional Scientist, Dr. Gardner-Chavis has an impressive track record of success including his activity with Stanford Oil of Ohio. His career and life is marked by his recruitment to be part of the Manhattan Project which led to the creation of the atomic bomb. Born, raised, and developed through difficult times for the African American people, Ralph overcame all obstacles in his education and amazingly obtained a PhD in Chemistry from Western Reserve University due to his paper on catalysis.

Dr. Gardner-Chavis holds an emeritus status with the CSU Chemistry Department and his name is recognized in various chemistry related sectors. During his numerous years of research he has regularly demonstrated his capabilities and skills, contributing to his acknowledgement as one of the top experts in the field of catalysis in particular, and chemistry in general. Although Chavis is not part of his original name, he decided to add it as a symbol of appreciation for John Chavis, the first African American to graduate from Princeton University.
