Elzbieta Perzan, RN-BC, BSN, Represents New York with Entry into Renowned Publication Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare

Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare and the International Nurses Association are proud to announce that Elzbieta Perzan, RN-BC, BSN, is being honored for her exceptional successes in the nursing community. With many years in the industry, Elzbieta has demonstrated the passion, dedication, and enthusiasm for patient care necessary to be considered a Top Nurse in her field.

Elzbieta is a Registered Nurse with New York Presbyterian Hospital in White Plains, New York. Considered one of the most comprehensive university hospitals in the world, New York Presbyterian Hospital features leading specialists in every field of medicine. Elzbieta embraced her current role in 2010 and is responsible for coordinating care of assigned patients on a shift. She is equipped with the attributes and expertise necessary to deliver safe, efficient, and beneficial patient care. While she acts within the policies and procedures of the hospital, division, and clinical department, she is also a patient advocate by addressing individual patient needs. Elzbieta is recognized for her ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary health care teams to optimize team performance.

Elzbieta earned her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN) in 2010 from the College of New Rochelle, where she is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Nursing Education,  graduating in December, 2014. A board certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Registered Nurse (RN-BC) by the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC). She is a member of Executive Council at the New York Presbyterian Hospital. Elzbieta is a part of an executive council and acting as a chair for Unit Practice Council (UPC) on child and adolescent psychiatric units with the focus on planning, implementing and continuously improving patient care delivery and the work environment on the inpatient unit. Furthermore, she is an active volunteer with Red Cross, Suzan G. Komen, Autism Speaks. She is also a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and American Nurses Association. Elzbieta is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI). She completed preceptor workshop and is actively acting as a preceptor for newly hired Registered Nurses. She enthusiastic about the nursing profession and has a desire to teach, creating environment conductive to learning through role modeling professional interactions on the care unit, demonstrating nursing actions, and giving timely and appropriate feedback.
