He currently maintains hospital privileges at the NYU Langone Medical Center and Lenox Hill Hospital and is a Clinical Instructor in Medicine at NYU Langone Medical Center. Dr. Insel serves on the Medical Advisory Board of EHE International, a prestigious healthcare organization and is their senior cardiologist. He holds board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
