The Kellogg Joint Venture Gorgon is an unincorporated joint venture between four world-class organizations, KBR, Hatch, JCG, and Clough. The Kellogg Joint Venture Gorgon is the engineering, construction management, and procurement contractor for the Gorgon Project that entails the construction of three LNG trains, LNG load-out and storage facilities, the domestic gas plant, construction village, and materials offloading facility.

As Pressure Vessel Registration Coordinator, James Layfield possesses an impressive career in the field of safety management systems spanning over 38 years. James launched his collaboration with the Kellogg Joint Venture in 2001 as Welding Engineer for the Woodside Train 4 project. In his current role he is responsible for filing registration applications with WorkSafe, the Western Australian regulatory authority in the field.

Despite acquiring a vast part of his expertise through professional experience, James also holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Almeda University at Idaho. In addition, he is affiliated with several groups and societies that reflect his professional interests including the American Society of Engineers, Welding Institute of Australia, and North American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
