James Womack Is A Published Author At Indiana State Business Network
INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA December 9, 2013 /State Business Network/-- James Womack is a towering figure of the Indiana writing community with an impressive ability to grasp and incorporate even the most complex life concepts. Employing a unique blend of passion for writing and diversified experience as a parishioner and military man, he went forward with his true calling and became a published author in 2013. His ability to render the most profound emotions and convey insightful messages have marked James Womack as an exemplary writer and distinguished member of the prestigious Indiana State Business Network.
The CEO of Alle-Mack LLC, James Womack is a published author with an impressive military background. He dedicated more than 21 years to his military service with the US Army serving in a full suite of roles. Upon retiring from active duty, he worked for two decades in the Federal Civil Service at the Defense Finance & Accounting Center, the Indianapolis Office. In addition, James became a Parishioner at Holy Spirit Parish at Geist where he continues to volunteer today, driving people who need a ride to church. Over 18 years as a parishioner, he remains true to his Christian values and provides communion service at AHEAPA Nursing Facility, donates blood and plasma at the Indiana Blood Center, and offers financial help at the Healing Hidden Hurst Ministry.
James entered the business world as a part-time fine jewelry sales associate and became involved in multiple independent distribution businesses that failed. He told his story of complete rejection by his father at a men’s retreat stating, “I had eleven men in tears and when they told me the world needed to hear my story I traded my retail skills to become a writer.”
After realizing that his true passion in life lay in writing, James wanted to employ his skills to tell the world about his life and his story. Consequently, he established Alle-Mack LLC in 2011 and Author House released his autobiography Black Dad-White Dad, The James Womack Story in March 2013. Mr. Womack continues to challenge himself to be a better, more creative person.
Despite his vast expertise acquired through a rich professional experience, James also earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Butler University, College of Business Administration. In 1978, he completed the first Generation Skill Qualification Test (71M) for the US Army followed by varied independent coursework. He was honored with several army medals during his active duty service, including the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Expert Qualification Badge-M16, Overseas Service Bars, and Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm. Furthermore, he is a distinguished member of the Knights of Columbus, Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 295, VFW 261, and Holy Spirit Parish at Geist.
