Jim Shoemake Is Displayed In The Ranks Of Stanford Who’s Who

MADISONVILLE, LA,   July 27, 2012 /Stanford Who’s Who/ -- As a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in the restaurant and food service industries, Jim Shoemake has routinely exhibited the passion, vision, and dedication necessary to be successful in the business world. As a result of his brilliant body of work, Jim has earned inclusion in the prestigious ranks of premier professionals with Stanford Who’s Who.

With a proven track record of success in the industry, Mr. Shoemake currently serves in the role of Procurement Executive Consultant with the Margaritas Mexican Restaurant Group, where he is responsible for managing the daily purchasing decisions for the group. He is also involved in the negotiation of all contracts and the reviewing of product specifications and food safety. Jim plays an integral role in assisting the President and CEO with all major purchasing decisions and needs. In addition, he is responsible for identifying and building the structure and platform for all products, equipment, small wares, alcohol beverages, energy, and credit cards.

Prior to joining the executive team with the Margaritas Mexican Restaurant Group, Jim served in several prominent roles, including Director of Procurement for SpenDifference, Senior Consultant with Maine Pointe LLC, Vice President of Purchasing for Al Copeland Investments, Corporate Procurement Manager with Foodbuy LLC, and Merchandising and Purchasing Manager for Multifoods VSA Atlanta.

Despite gaining the vast majority of his expertise through his professional experience in the field, Joe also earned an Associate of Arts degree in Business, Management, and Marketing from the Music Business Institute of Atlanta and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from LaGrange College. In addition, Mr. Shoemake is a member of the Supply Chain Management Group, Restaurant Network, Christian Professionals Worldwide, Global Procurement & Supply Chain Management Professionals, Procurement People Network, and the Foodservice Professional Network.
