Johannan Kelly, RN, BSN, Represents Nursing with Entry into Renowned Publication Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare
Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare and the International Nurses Association are proud to announce that, Johannan Kelly, RN, BSN, is being honored for her exceptional successes in the nursing community. With many years in the industry, Johannan has demonstrated the passion, dedication, and enthusiasm for patient care necessary to be considered a Top Nurse in her field.
Johannan is an energetic, compassionate and highly skilled nurse currently working as a home visiting nurse with sole responsibility of the New Parent Support Program through Eagle Applied Sciences, LLC for the Misawa Air Force Base. She also continued the efforts to reduce domestic violence and child abuse/neglect on the Joint Base Lewis-McChord. In her current capacity, she provides education and support to families that are expecting a child or that already have a child up to age four, with a special focus on those experiencing stressors that impact parenting skills and relationships. In addition to her current role, Johannan serves as Co-Chair of the Mentoring Committee for the American Public Health Association. She is highly regarded as an advocate for individuals who have experienced or are currently experiencing abuse of any form.
Johannan obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Creighton University in 2007. She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Nursing Education at Gonzaga University, which she is expected to complete in 2015. In 2006, Johannan also acquired a Bachelor’s Degree of Interdisciplinary Studies from George Fox University. To remain current in her field, she is a member of the American Public Health Association, National Coalition of Domestic Violence, and International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect. She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau.
