Over the course of his incredibly impressive career, John has also served in numerous other managerial positions, including as a Government and Defense Export Manager for Chubb Fire; General Manager of Horseracing and Sporting for Mittys World of Sport; Corporate Manager for Meneres BMW; and Sales Manager for Kingston Trophies.
Sharing his expertise in his field, John recently had an article published in the Pavilion Magazine of The Australian Cricket Society on the subject of bronze cricketer’s statues located around Australia. He is highly regarded for his expertise and knowledge in historical Australian sporting memorabilia, as well as antique, vintage, and heritage Australian sporting trophies, and the conservation and preservation of heritage Australian sporting items. Further demonstrating his love for sport, he enjoys collecting autographed books and researching Australian sporting history.
An extensively educated individual, Mr. Holmes has a rich academic foundation that encompasses numerous courses in a variety of subjects.
