Due to her sensational body of work as well as the tremendous amount of success she has experienced throughout her entire occupational history, Kathleen Samu has earned acceptance in the celebrated network of distinguished professionals with Stanford Who’s Who.
Utilizing her extensive experience and expertise in the field as well as her exceptional analytical abilities, Kathleen currently works as a Research Analyst for the Ministry of Pacific Island Affairs, which is the New Zealand Government’s premier adviser on policies and interventions that serves to promote the social, economic, and cultural development of Pacific peoples in New Zealand. In her position with the Ministry, Kathleen is responsible for performing research and accumulating information in order to aid Pacific people in the areas of job search, education, youth skills, and language.
Prior to her work with the Ministry of Pacific Island Affairs, Kathleen spent two years as a Researcher for the Pacific Health Unit of the School of Population Health at the University of Auckland. She also spent five years at the Clinical Research and Resource Center of the Waitemata District Health Board, where she served as a Pacific Researcher. Over the course of her incredibly impressive career, Kathleen has also been a Teacher at the KidsHill School and a Researcher for Massey University.
Despite gathering a substantial amount of her expertise through her vast professional experience, Kathleen is also an extensively educated individual who earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, Postgraduate Diploma of Arts in Psychology, and a Master of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Auckland.
