The International Nurses Association, INA, has carefully selected Kimberly J. Snell, RN, to represent nursing in their publication, Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Kimberly Snell’s selection is a significant representation of her passion and dedication for the field of nursing. She is considered to be among the best with nearly 20 years in practice.
Kimberly maintains a position within the Hickory Creek Healthcare Foundation located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Hickory Creek is a non-profit, community-based organization committed to providing quality and compassionate long-term care and rehabilitation services to their residents. Kimberly is an asset to the faculty of Hickory Creek, being well-versed in geriatric care and developmentally disabled patients. Earlier in her career Kimberly worked for the State of Indiana, doing outreach service for the developmentally disabled as a private contractor.
In 1994, Kimberly graduated from the Lutheran College of Health Professions with her registered nursing degree. Furthering her training in the field of nursing, she then obtained certification in wound care. To remain current in the ever-changing field of nursing, Kimberly is an active member of the Developmental Disabilities Nurses Association; a society dedicated to improving the care, services, and quality of life that are offered to their patients.
