Lee Scullard-Biluk, RN, BSCN (HON), Represents Ontario with Entry into Renowned Publication Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare
The International Nurses Association, INA, has carefully selected Lee Scullard-Biluk, RN, BSCN (HON), to represent her nursing community in their publication, Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Lee’s selection is a significant representation of her passion and dedication to her call in the field of nursing. With 3 years in practice, she is considered to be among the best in her line of work.
Lee presently works as a Cardiac and Palliative Care Nurse at Sault Area Hospital as well as Algoma Residential Community Hospice in Ontario Canada. Her expertise is on provision of psychological support, symptom control and maintaining open communication about expectations to patients with heart failure who in most cases eventually die within a short period. Her main duty is management of resultant symptoms and reduction of suffering heart failure patients usually undergo with the ultimate aim of ensuring serene death should it occur. Lee’s exceptional services earned her the 2013 Nurse of the Year recognition from Algoma Residential Community Hospice.
Lee received her nursing degree from University of Ontario Institute of Technology having emerged among the top percentile graduates in her 2009 class. She is Certified as a Public Health Nurse (PHN), Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) and as an instructor for Course in Advanced Trauma Nursing (CATN-I). She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at the University of New Castle while upholding her membership in the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario, International Emergency Nursing Association, Ontario Nurses Association, and the Canadian Association of Critical Care Nurses.
