Linda L. Maass Earns Membership With Stanford Who’s Who
RALEIGH-DURHAM, NC, January 12, 2012 /Stanford Who’s Who/ -- Linda L. Maass, MBA/GM has been accepted into the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who’s Who as a result of her remarkable work in program management. Currently, as Program Manager of the Hydraulic Competency Center with CNH, as well as throughout her brilliant professional career, Linda has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be successful in the business world.
Linda has worked for Fortune 500 companies such as Caterpillar, Inc in a global and cultural environment operating in both the agricultural and construction equipment industries. Her breath of knowledge includes integrated engineering, manufacturing, marketing and distribution of equipment on all continents. Many of her employer’s operations are organized into various business segments including agricultural equipment, construction equipment, mining and financial services.
Linda, who carries 20 years of extensive industry experience, is responsible for managing teams in the areas of design, marketing, manufacturing, quality, and logistics. Among the highlights of her incredibly impressive career, Linda has been responsible for leading a team of 60 individuals to improve cradle to grave processes in order to reduce waste and extend the life of large mining components at three business units by 8000 hours. Linda also served as an Annual Quality Improvement Project Leader for a laser process program that reduced costs by $1.5 million annually and gained productivity by 35%. She has served as field expert in Caterpillar’s Latin American dealers to bring them to best in class for repair processes and contamination control saving an average of $300,000 per year in field repairs. Her impressive track record show deliverability at all project levels far superior than the goals set for each task. Quality improvement, cost and timeliness show exceptional results at project completion.
During her collegiate career, Linda earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering at the University of North Carolina and a Master of Business Administration degree in Global Management from the University of Phoenix. She is a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, Association for Manufacturing Excellence and the Society of Women Engineers. She has recently been nominated into the Manufacturing Leadership Council of America.
