Lorrie Gail Marie Harrison, RN, ACET, Represents Saskatchewan with Entry into Renowned Publication Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare
The International Nurses Association has carefully selected Lorrie Gail Marie Harrison, RN, ACET, to represent nursing in their publication, Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Lorrie Harrison’s selection is a significant representation of her passion and dedication for the field of nursing. She is considered to be among the best with over 35 years of experience.
Lorrie is an experienced nurse and nurse educator based out of the Saskatchewan area in Canada. Currently, Lorrie is a regional educator informing the public on health topics including sexuality and women’s health. As well as being a trained group nurse facilitator and women’s health patient educator, Lorrie is on staff at various local hospitals including Pasqua Hospital and Regina General Hospital. A passionate educator, she has authored workbooks and handouts, and has had stress management studies published. Lorrie fully immersed in the field, participating in public lectures and being a member to numerous associations such as the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses' Association; an association that ensures competent, caring knowledge-based registered nursing for the people of Saskatchewan through education and practice.
She graduated from the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology with her nursing degree in 1991; then moving on to the University of Regina for a degree in Adult Education. Lorrie has also received ACET, the Alternative Certification for Effective Teachers, certification to ensure her students the best education possible.
