Madhu Verma Joins The Global Community Of Stanford Who’s Who

SINGAPORE,   December 10, 2012 /Stanford Who’s Who/ -- An extraordinary social entrepreneur and executive in the nonprofit organization management  field with over two decades of diverse professional experience in various industries, Madhu Verma has routinely demonstrated the passion, vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be mentioned among the elite. As a result of her brilliant body of work, Madhu has earned recognition in the prestigious network of prominent professionals with Stanford Who’s Who.

Drawing upon her wealth of knowledge in the business world as well as her magnificent management skills and leadership abilities, Madhu is the Founder and Director of SoCh in Action, which is a nonprofit organization that specializes in the provision of a variety of programs designed to produce opportunities for children to get involved in social change to create a better tomorrow. Through programs such as the Design for Change School Challenge, Catalyst for Change Workshops, and the Be the Change Exposition, the organization engages children in actions beneficial to the future of society.

A marketing professional with a great deal of experience in the corporate and social sectors, Madhu is responsible for managing all major aspects of the organization as well as overseeing the daily operations and forging partnerships with numerous other organizations. Incredibly passionate about changing the world for the better, she is fully dedicated to ensuring the success of SoCh in Action.

Simultaneous to her work with SoCh in Action, Madhu is the Co-Founder and Vice President of the MicroFinance Society (Singapore), which is an organization that was established in order to educate, network, and engage the public of Singapore in the microfinance field. Their creation of an innovative and collaborative forum is designed to help cause the reduction of poverty on a global scale.

Prior to her current ventures, Madhu served in various prominent roles, including her position as a Marketing Coordinator with Microsoft India and as a Relationship Marketing professional with Oxfam New Zealand. In recent years, she has also been a Business Development Manager with Stamford Plaza Auckland and a Marketing Coordinator for Yellow Pages New Zealand.

Although she has gathered a considerable amount of her expertise through her vast professional experience, Madhu is also a highly educated individual who earned a Diploma in Hotel Management from the Institute of Hotel Management and a Master’s degree in Marketing and Management from Massey University. Further demonstrating her professional proficiency, she was the recipient of an Australian & New Zealand Marketing Academy award for Marketing in 2007.
