Maria currently works as an independent Information Specialist who is passionate about assisting people in defining their information needs, teaching information literacy, and evaluating as well as selecting information sources and services. During her collegiate career, Maria earned a Master’s degree in Library Science. She is a member of the Special Libraries Association, National Honors Society, and the French Honors Society. In the time away from her busy schedule, Maria greatly enjoys gardening.
