Dr. Marjorie A. O'Loughlin Joins The Class Of Stanford Who’s Who

Dr. Marjorie A. O'Loughlin is an extraordinary educator with well over three decades of diverse professional experience in the education industry. Throughout her exemplary career in the field, she has consistently demonstrated the passion, vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the elite.
Employing her extensive experience and expertise in the field as well as her exceptional communication and leadership skills, Dr. O’Loughlin currently serves as an Academic Lecturer at the University of Sydney in the area of Indigenous Teacher Education. Previously, for several decades she had lectured students involved in Undergraduate programs in Aboriginal and Indigenous studies as well as in the arts and humanities, economics, healthcare, sports science, music, and various science specialties. She had supervised students during their Post-graduate studies as well as the significant numbers of students who have produced highly original and scholarly work, which demonstrates her success in this. She has also examined a wide variety of theses’ from candidates across Australia and internationally.
Evidencing her excellent reputation in the education industry, Dr. O’Loughlin is a Fellow of the Philosophy of Education Society of Australasia. She is also the author of a number of significant and diverse research papers including: Listening, Heeding and Respecting the Ground at One’s Feet: Knowledge and the Arts Across Cultures. and The Values of Democracy in Deweyan Pragmatism: A Brief Exploration. During her Academic career she was the co- recipient of Large and Small competitive grants funded by the Australian Research Council (ARC).
