Patricia Costas, RN, Represents Massachusetts with Entry into Renowned Publication Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare

The International Nurses Association, INA, has carefully selected Patricia Costas, RN, to represent her nursing community in their publication, Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Patricia’s selection is a significant representation of her passion and dedication for the field of nursing.  With over 15 years in practice, she is considered to be among the best in her line of work.

Patricia is based at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Massachusetts, where she serves as a Cardiac Care/Telemetry specialist nurse.  Melrose-Wakefield Hospital is part of the nationally renowned, Hallmark Health System, which has been recognized over the past for innovation and excellence in the provision of integrated healthcare services. Patricia works with patients afflicted by heart failure, diabetes, gastrointestinal diseases, and other acute conditions, primarily; monitoring their vital signs and administering medication among other critical duties. She regularly lends a hand as a CPR Instructor and currently holds a volunteer position as President of Kiwanis of Medford.

Patricia received her nursing degree from the Lawrence Memorial School of Nursing in 1997. She is certified as a Public Health Nurse (PHN) and was recently honored as Boston Globe Best in Group for emerging as Outstanding Nurse in 2011 and 2012.  Other career highlights include a nomination for the Daisy Award in 2012.
