For the last 12 years, Mr. Nicholson has focused on the media and entertainment industry. He served on 5 consecutive Boards over ten years and was the longest serving director at the SABC.

Although he gained the majority of his expertise through his professional experience, Robin is also a highly educated individual who earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree, Bachelor of Law degree, and a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the University of the Witwatersrand. In addition, he completed the Senior Management Development Program at the University of Cape Town and the Glaxo Wellcome Senior Manager Development Program at Duke University.

Evidencing his remarkable reputation in the professional community, Mr. Nicholson is a member of numerous organizations, including the Chartered Accountants of South Africa and the Chief Financial Officer Network. He is also currently enrolled for the Advanced Short Course in Business Rescue Practice with Legal Education and Development offered by the University of South Africa and The Law Society of South Africa.
