Sainath Venkatrao Earns Membership With Stanford Who’s Who

Applying his extensive expertise in the field, Mr. Venkatrao serves as Director and Treasurer of Pacific Basin Shipping Ltd., which is one of the world’s leading owners and operators of modern handysize and handymax dry bulk vessels as well as a global provider of diversified shipping services. Listed and headquartered in Hong Kong, the company operates in three main maritime segments under the banners of Pacific Basin Dry Bulk, PB Energy & Infrastructure Services, and PB RoRo. Their fleet is comprised of 160 vessels directly servicing blue chip industrial customers.
Although he obtained the vast majority of his expertise through professional experience in the field, Sainath earned a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Madras. He also earned Associate Chartered Accountant certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and studied Business at the International Institute for Management Development. In addition he is a Graduate of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India, where he studied Management Accounting.
Evidencing his remarkable reputation in the professional community, Mr. Venkatrao is a member of the Hong Kong Management Association, Hong Kong Institute of Bankers, India Leadership Network, Chief Financial Officer Network, and the International Association of Corporate Treasurers.
