Additionally, over the course of her career, Shahnas has been honored as a Women Innovator during the APEC Women and Economy Summit. Venturing into the entrepreneurial world with an Arab partner, Shahnas became the Managing Director and Partner in the Natural Wellness Group having interests in natural medicine, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. In her position, she is responsible for managing all major aspects of the business as well as overseeing the daily operations. Prior to her work with Natural Wellness, she accumulated over a decade of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, serving as a Production Pharmacist Manager and Senior Manager during that time.

Although she has gathered a substantial amount of her expertise through her voluminous professional experience, Shahnas is also an extensively educated individual who earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree with Honors from Universiti Sains Malaysia and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of South Australia. She also completed a housemanship at the National Pharmaceutical Control Bureau, Ministry of Health Malaysia. She is currently writing her thesis for a doctorate candidacy from the University of Newcastle, Australia.

Shahnas sits as an Executive Council Member for the Malaysian Organisation of Pharmaceutical Industries (MOPI) and Persatuan Siswazah Wanita Malaysia.  She is also a Board of Studies member for the International Islamic University Master in Industrial Pharmacy programme.
