Applying his extensive expertise in the field as well as his magnificent management skills, Terry currently serves as a Pharmacist and Operations Manager with Express Scripts, which is one of the largest pharmacy benefit management organizations in the United States, serving the needs of millions of customers each year. Dedicated to making the use of prescription drugs safer and more affordable, Express Scripts provides a comprehensive range of services, including network-pharmacy claims processing, home delivery services, specialty benefit management, benefit-design consultation, drug-utilization review, and formulary management.

In his position with Express Scripts, Mr. Smith is responsible for managing 34 technicians, 16 pharmacists, and a supervisor. Under his outstanding leadership, the department’s efficiency has raised by 30% while the cost of prescriptions has lowered by 25%. Among his numerous responsibilities as Operations Manager, Terry is accountable for managing the areas of financial management, quality assurance, patient care, safety risk management, team satisfaction, TQM implementation, and equipment maintenance.

Prior to joining the Express Scripts team, Mr. Smith was the Owner and Pharmacy Manager of the Priority Care LTC Pharmacy which was incredibly successful before he sold it in 2007 to take the position with Express Scripts. Before that venture, Terry worked as a Pharmacist for the Medical Center Compounding Pharmacy. Evidencing his remarkable reputation in the field, he has been a member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy and the Academy of Students of Pharmacy. Mr. Smith has also served as President and Co-Chair of the Nevada Southern division of the Assisted Living Advisory Council.

Having built a solid academic foundation during his collegiate career, Terry earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from Northeastern University and a Master of Arts degree in Business Organization from the University of Phoenix. He is also in the process of working towards a Master of Science degree in Pharmacy Regulations from the University of Florida and a Master of Business Administration degree from Stetson University.
